Ilahinoor (which means “Divine Light” in Turkish) is an important new energy transmission for our time. With its roots in ancient Egypt, it has come to us now at this time of extraordinary global transition to ease our evolution into new dimensions of consciousness.
Easy to access and to give by touch or intent, Ilahinoor is a powerful tool for emotional and physical healing and the release of old self-limiting patterns. It is generally experienced as very nurturing and balancing, as we enter deeply into the body in expanded consciousness.
With Ilahinoor, we can finally come home to ourselves, to experience both a greater aliveness and a deep inner peace. Life begins to flow with greater ease and abundance as we open into a joyful recognition of our true nature.
As global dysfunction and disintegration become ever more apparent, some see us heading towards disaster while others predict a dramatic shift into another dimension. One thing is clear – without a radical change in collective consciousness we and many other species may not be here for much longer. Awakening from the dream of separation is becoming a biological necessity for survival.
We are past the time for spending decades of spiritual practice in the hope of enlightenment. Ilahinoor is a new way to directly experience our unity with the earth and all that is – and begin to co-create new ways of living together on the planet.
Many of us have glimpses of the deeper reality beyond our habitual modes of being, and long to experience life more from that place, but feel we have much healing to do and entrenched beliefs to shift before it can happen. Ilahinoor initiates a gentle clearing of subconscious blocks, and provides both a container of love in which deep wounds can begin to heal and also a means, right now, to slip underneath all the layers of pain and conditioning to rest in Presence.
One of the beauties of Ilahinoor is its ease of transmission. You may feel the energy simply through reading the name, which can be used to invoke the energy [pronunciation note: illa-hee-noor]. Once you have made a connection, usually via a hands-on or distance transmission, you can quickly and easily begin to use it, both as a personal resource and to share with others.
You will know if you feel ready to give it – you don’t need a special teacher to empower you, though you may want to attend a group or workshop or one-to-one session to receive, learn and practise the transmission.
See 'How to connect with Ilahinoor' for more information.
For many of us who have connected with Ilahinoor, the energy feels somehow both excitingly new and deeply familiar. A common response is that it feels like “coming home”. The flavour of Ilahinoor can be found in many places: the quality of the energy can be clearly felt in the writings of the Sufi poet Rumi, and there is a strong connection with the consciousness field of whales and dolphins . There are many other resonances – especially with embodiment practices like 5 Rhythms dance, expressions of the Divine Feminine such as Quan Ying, the joyful play of children and young animals, and the feeling of being securely held by a loving mother.
The 'midwife' for the Ilahinoor energy field has been Kiara Windrider, Indian born spiritual teacher, healer, psychotherapist and author of three books including the recently published 'Journey into Forever – surfing 2012 and beyond'. The energy field opened up during a small retreat he was leading in Turkey in 2006. To find out more about the origins, context and practice of Ilahinoor, see Articles by Kiara Windrider.
Although becoming established now in several countries, Ilahinoor is still relatively new here, though spreading rapidly.
