Ilahinoor: A Divine Light

Like waves upon the seashore following each other in a rising tide, I feel a series of waves moving through collective human consciousness in our journey of evolution.
The cosmic energy known as “deeksha” is one such wave. Originating in south India, the movement was founded on the work of Bhagavan and Amma, two visionary mystics who have since become known as ‘avatars of enlightenment’.
Along with my wife, Grace, I first experienced this energy in the summer of 2003. We happened to be at Bhagavan’s ashram, known as Oneness University, the very first time the deekshas were publicly given, and ended up spending several months there working with this divine energy of awakening, including learning how to transfer this energy to others.
We had also been much inspired by the work of two other visionary mystics, Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, who, it seemed to me, had initiated much the same kind of experiment a hundred years earlier, in response to an earlier wave of evolutionary impulse.
For the next three years we wrote and travelled incessantly around the world, eager to share the vision of global awakening through the deeksha, always in context of what Sri Aurobindo had spoken of as ‘the supramental awakening’, a time when the unified consciousness of divinity becomes fully awake within the world of matter.
Then, very gradually at first, we felt the wave pulling back. Something was changing in our inner world, and although the deeksha energy still flowed as powerfully from its cosmic evolutionary source, we realized that there were other doorways opening up as well.
I perceive evolution as moving forward in waves. One wave comes in, then goes back, making way for another wave to come in. The backwash is a time of questioning and reflection, a time when we get to examine again the foundation of our being, and do the necessary work of integration before the next wave can come in from the same cosmic ocean. I allowed myself to enter into a place of emptiness and mystery, waiting for guidance…
I was in Bangalore in late March 2006 when I got the phone call from my South African friend Vivek. He was a few hours away from me, and sounded excited. “When can I see you?” he was asking. I told him I didn’t have much time at the moment since I was getting ready to head for Turkey in a few days, where Grace and I had been invited to do a few deeksha seminars.
He insisted that he had to speak with me, however. He began to blurt out his story over the phone. He had just finished talking with his friend Rajendra, who was a seer. Vivek happened to have a copy of my book, “Fire from Heaven”, with him, and had shown it to Rajendra. Rajendra took the book in his hands, and without opening it, had gone into a trance state, providing Vivek with detailed information about my life – past, present and future - which he proceeded to then share with me over the phone.
I was intrigued. I don’t normally seek out channels or psychics for guidance or information, but there are times in my life when I have crossed paths with someone I knew I was meant to meet who had a significant message to convey. As I listened to Vivek speak, I recognized that this was such a person, and that it was important that we get together as soon as possible.
I called up Rajendra. It turned out that he was coming to Bangalore the following day, and we arranged to meet for lunch. There was an instant soul recognition, and we began to talk about planetary events and the journey of awakening. He told me much the same information I had heard from Vivek over the phone, but then added something that caught me by surprise. “You have been doing most of your work in the Western world so far”, he said to me. “However, your work has only just begun, and all this is about to change.”
He went on to say that I would be focusing my attention on the Muslim world from that point on, and that I would be sharing an important message that would help bring peace in the world. I wasn’t sure I wanted to hear that. I had my own stereotypes of the Muslim world, largely generated by the Western press, and sad to say, I had been stuck with a fairly fundamentalist stereotype that was not very appealing. He went on to say that I had been incarnate in Arabia during the lifetime of the prophet Mohammad, and that it was time for me now to reconnect with that lineage so I could help people connect with a long-forgotten deeper message. This would help in harmonizing the major world religions.
I was still pondering over all this when we arrived in Istanbul a few days later. We had met a spiritual teacher from Istanbul, Isik, a few months ago in Sicily, where Grace and I had been giving a week long deeksha seminar. Isik attended our seminar and we became friends. Subsequently he had invited us to Turkey to spend some time together and to do a few deeksha events there.
So it was that in the Spring of 2006 Grace and I went to Turkey, intending to do a couple seminars and then return to India. The universe, however, had a different plan. Turkey is in a unique position of bridging two continents, Europe and Asia, and all that they represent. It is also a bridge in time, a land where civilizations and ancient religions have been birthed and nurtured for 9000 years. Turks refer to this land as Anatolya, Land of the Mother, a stargate for new galactic frequencies to be anchored on the planet today.
Before very long we realized this was where we were being called to live. Other seers we met locally began confirming some of the things Rajendra had shared with me earlier. Doors continued to open, and it wasn’t long before we had found a seaside home in this ancient and beautiful country, amongst a warm, open-hearted and extremely hospitable people.
A couple months after settling in, I felt another wave of evolutionary energy moving through my life. Grace was away doing some seminars in Hawaii, and I had been doing a 3 day retreat with a small group in Dalyan, a beautiful village on the Aegean coast of Turkey. Two of the participants, Nuket and Leyla, had just returned from a trip to Egypt where they had been receiving a series of inner messages about these awakening times. Ceylan and Nur were also psychically very sensitive.
We found ourselves experiencing memories of a shared lifetime in ancient Egypt during the time of the Pharaoh Akhenaton. As in other times before and since, this was an experiment for achieving a certain amount of mastery over the physical body as the divine energies became embodied into the cellular matrix. In times past this had led to heightened possibilities for the enlightenment of the body, leading to physical immortality, or ascension.
At a certain point we connected with a Being known in ancient Egypt as Ra, who went on to speak about a living morphogenetic field of ascension frequencies that had been built up over time through the lifetimes of many initiates who had actually achieved physical immortality and ascension in those times. This morphogenetic field had been screened off from collective humanity until a point when we were ready again to re-activate this. That time was now.
Suddenly, this energy began to weave itself into the circle. I found that it was similar in many ways to what I had experienced when swimming with humpback whales in Hawaii, when I had felt like my body lost its sense of physical boundaries, and merged with Earth, Cosmos and beyond. The energy was powerful and entered deeply into the physical body. It was warm and fluid, and felt very nourishing.
Over the next few days, more information came through about the roles that each of us had played during those ancient times in awakening this energy. The details of those stories are not important here. What is important is to know that this morphogenetic field still exists, and that it can be used for healing and for the cellular integration of cosmic evolutionary energies.
We looked for a name that matched the frequency of what this energy represented. Turkey is a land with a rich history of Sufi mysticism, exemplified in the life and teachings of a man known in the West as Jalaluddin Rumi, and known here as simply Mevlana, or Lover of God. It seemed somehow that the vibration of this mystic tradition was also part of the morphogenetic field that we were experiencing, and we recognized Mevlana as another of the great lights behind this work.
We ended up calling this vibrational field, 'Ilahinur', which means ‘Divine Light’ in Turkish. Like the Deeksha, it is a cosmic evolutionary energy whose purpose is to awaken humanity to our highest potential. As we continued to experiment, we began to realize that these two streams of evolutionary energy were very complementary in their purpose, although quite different as well.
Over the next few months as we evolved a system to share this new energy, people began to provide enthusiastic feedback about the effectiveness of Ilahinur in their lives. Comparisons are always relative, but many who had experienced both deeksha and ilahinur reported that they experienced deeksha being softer and lighter, while ilahinur was heavier and more embodied, that deeksha was more cosmic and electrical, while ilahinur was more grounded and magnetic. People often feel the ilahinur energy very directly in the heart, and also in the solar plexus, the center where personal will and power merges with divine will and power, and many have reported experiencing a clearing of deep-seated addictions and emotional pain.
All this is very much in its experimental stages so far. There are different ex-pressions of divine energy, each of which may have specific functions, but I see them all as braiding together into a single evolutionary focus. Having worked actively as a psychotherapist for many years, I am excited about the potential of ilahinur to achieve profound emotional healing, as well as to deeper integrate the deeksha energies into the physical body. When working with people now I usually begin with deeksha and then move into ilahinur, sharing with them how they can access this morphogenetic field for themselves.
I have also been encouraging people who have been initiated into the ilahinur energy to experiment with initiating others. Each candle lights another directly from a single cosmic flame. It is a time to move beyond hierarchies and human structures. The morphogenetic field of ilahinur is ancient and strong, and grows with the sharing. Many find that the flow is stronger when they are giving than when they are receiving. Like deeksha, the ilahinur energy includes the potential for healing the body, mind, heart, and soul to an unprecedented extent by restructuring DNA in accordance with a divine blueprint. Our bodies are each multi-dimensional temples of God, simply waiting to be illuminated with divine light.
It is my hope that we will do this wisely and well, honoring the divine oneness rather than creating a hierarchical system, keeping it financially affordable for everyone, giving and receiving freely from the heart, awakening each other to the destiny that awaits us collectively. Sri Aurobindo spoke of the birthing of a new species of humanity, referring to this as the ‘supramental awakening’. Perhaps Ilahinur is another wave of cosmic light moving through humanity today to serve this awakening.
Ilahinoor: A Breakthrough Offering

Waves of a powerful new energy are pulsing in from the galactic center. It is an evolutionary pulse, referred to by astrophysicist Paul LaViolette as a ‘galactic superwave’, which seems to move through our solar system every 12 or 13 thousand years, bringing with it high frequency cosmic and gamma rays capable of impacting matter and shifting consciousness in a rather big way.
We are also entering now the “breakthrough period” of the fifth day in the galactic underworld of the Mayan calendar, a time of great increase in light frequencies. Ceremonies and gatherings all over the world are taking place right now to anchor this light, and to prepare the collective consciousness for a significant acceleration of global events which could conceivably lead to a dimensional shift sometime during the endtime of the Mayan calendar in 2011 or 2012.
The Deeksha process, developed by Amma and Bhagavan a few years ago in South India, seems to be a powerful embodiment of this galactic superwave, and carries a frequency conducive to preparing our minds and bodies for this dimensional shift.
As the ocean of consciousness continues to rise in our journey back to Source, many other waves of galactic consciousness have also been sweeping in, birthed in many different corners of the world under many different names through many different traditions. One such process, known as Ilahinoor, (or “Divine Light” in Turkish), seems to connect with an ancient morphogenetic field going back to ancient Egypt and which has been held through the millennia in the mindfield of the whale kingdoms.
I have been working with this ilahinoor field quite intensively for the past year. In past cycles this energy was utilized to prepare the body for what is known today as ‘ascension’, a process of raising the frequencies of the physical body to merge with the lightbody, which in those days was a long and difficult achievement. I am told that in these times this energy is to become available not just to a few but to anyone who desires this, in preparation for a dimensional shift where matter itself is being transformed in our return journey towards Source.
I have been experimenting with ilahinoor as a means to deepen and integrate the activity of the deeksha, and am simply amazed at the results. We have been sharing ilahinoor directly through hands-on transmissions, as well as through long distance transmissions, and also teaching people how to tune into this field themselves, and then pass it on to others. Hundreds of people all over the world, including many deeksha givers and receivers in Turkey, U.S, and Europe, have reported a very significant deepening of their process, and most of them report a heightened ability to bring the cosmic energies further into the body, and thus into the body of the Earth as well. People also report a cleansing of the emotional body, and often the clearing of various kinds of addictions. Many have said that just hearing the vibration of this name has opened up a new doorway for them.
Ilahinoor seems to me very compatible with Deeksha, although for those who have not been exposed to deeksha it can also be used independently by itself. Whereas many experience deeksha as an electrical frequency which opens the higher centers, ilahinoor is experienced as a magnetic frequency that is comforting and grounding, especially when someone has been feeling ‘overamped’ by too much deeksha. It is like the yin and yang of a cosmic polarity. At the risk of over-simplifying it, I would say that while deeksha works with opening centers in the new brain, ilahinoor works to further download these energies into the structures of the old brain, thus bringing our subconscious minds and emotions into resonance with our higher will and consciousness. Working together, many are finding that working with ilahinoor makes it easier to integrate the deeksha.
The mid-point of the Fifth Day is the highest peak of light in the galactic cycle of the Mayan calendar. This light must be integrated into the emotional and physical bodies of our personal as well as planetary self. We are also going through a period of time when Pluto is directly conjuncting the galactic center, bringing up all our personal and collective shadows, both dark and light, in order to be transformed into oneness. Perhaps Ilahinoor can be another means to assist in this process.

All you need do is ask to connect with the morphogenetic field of ‘ilahinoor’ through contact with your own higher self, guides, and angels, and then lie back and relax. As you bring it through your own body, send it out to those around you, and to our beautiful planet. Practicing Ilahinoor

Ilahinoor is a cosmic evolutionary energy. Like many other such energies sweeping the planet today, its purpose is to help humanity awaken to its infinite potential. Astrophysicist Paul LaViolette refers to a “galactic superwave”, emanating from the super-charged center of our Milky Way galaxy that pulses through our solar system every 13,000 years or so. Although this superwave, traveling close to the speed of light, has not reached us here in our solar system yet, it seems that we could be in the preparatory phases for it. Our bodies, hearts, and minds are being gradually re-wired in anticipation of the rather sudden evolutionary energies that may shortly be coming our way.
The purpose of these cosmic pulses, by whatever name we refer to them, is to raise the molecular frequencies of all matter in our solar system, a process that some refer to as Ascension. This also correlates with a shift of consciousness being experienced on all planets in our solar system, including of course, here on Earth.
One function of these new frequencies in humans is that they activate dormant functions within our nervous system and brain, resulting in the experience of multi-dimensional consciousness. Simultaneously, this activates new codes within our DNA which then begins a process of transformation within the human species.
Ilahinoor refers to a process of integrating these cosmic evolutionary energies for the purpose of awakening. Evolution has a way of proceeding very gradually for long periods of time and then suddenly taking a quantum leap. We are now evolving from a species focused on physical survival, competitiveness, and aggression to a species where it is possible to integrate the frequencies of soul directly within the brain and nervous system.
Barbara Marx Hubbard refers to this emerging species as ‘homo universalis’, the universal human. Rather than being trapped in a linear dimension of the time-space continuum, we will ultimately experience ourselves as multi-dimensional beings able to move around in time and space at will, unfettered by perceived limitations of disease, aging, and death.
The first time I experienced Ilahinoor was with a small group of people in Dalyan, a beautiful village on the Aegean coast of Turkey. Two of them had just returned from a couple months in Egypt, where they had been receiving much information on the inner planes about the pharaoh Akhenaton and his consort, Nefertiti.
As we absorbed some of this information, all of us in the group found ourselves going back in time, each experiencing a past-life memory of being incarnated during that time. The stories matched. As we connected with our lifetimes there, we became aware of a vast energy that began to make itself felt in the room. It was Ra, the Solar Deity who had incarnated through Akhenaton during that period. He spoke about a morphogenetic field that had been established during that time for the purpose of accelerating the ‘ascension process’ of selected initiates. Hundreds of people had been enabled to achieve ‘ascension’ or ‘physical immortality’ during that period.
This morphogenetic field was now being re-activated, said Ra. It was time for humanity to step into their divine potential. This time, however, it was not for just a few initiates; all humanity was being prepared to make this shift.
Over the next few days, more information came through. As we worked with the energy we were guided in the use of it, but also told that it was important not to create any fixed rules about how it should be used. Each person was invited to tap into the morphogenetic field directly through their own higher self, thus allowing their own guidance to teach them in the use of this divine potential. When we asked for a name we were given ‘Ilahinoor’, which is a generic Turkish word meaning ‘Divine Light’. The frequency of that name, we were told, serves as a doorway into this morphogenetic field.
Many years ago, when I lived in Hawaii, I had an encounter with a mother and baby humpback whale in Kealakekua Bay. I experienced tremendous waves of light and energy coming towards me from the mother as I floated face-down directly above her. These energies began entering through an area in the back of my head slightly up from the occipital ridge, and I felt myself expanding out into space around me until I felt myself one with the entire body of Earth, eventually merging into a galactic consciousness.
Later, sitting in my room with notebook in hand, I tuned into her consciousness once more and began to receive a profound message. This area of the brain represented a link to ‘spherical consciousness’, I was told, a multi-dimensional consciousness that was now emerging within the human species. The whales were physiologically designed to maintain this consciousness at all times, and now the time had come for humans to embody this as well.
Now, as we gathered with the Ilahinoor energies in Dalyan, we were instructed to work with these points in the back of the head. We were told that this was related to an area of the brain through which we could re-write our genetic codes, and that this was the potential of the Ilahinoor work.
So we experimented with this. I held these points while participants invited the Ilahinoor energy to come through, mediated by their higher selves. People began to experience amazing expansions of consciousness, just like I had back in Hawaii with the whales.
Over the next few weeks I continued doing the Ilahinoor work with other groups. As people began sharing their experiences, certain common patterns began to emerge. I realized that somehow there was a bridge being created here between the subconscious and conscious aspects of self. People would often feel these energies going right down into the solar plexus and then down their legs into the Earth. The solar plexus is the center of personal will. As we experimented with holding a specific intention while receiving these energies, it created a fusion of personal with divine will, allowing for a deeper manifestation of divinity in whatever areas of life we wished to focus on.
For many years I have felt that our spiritual work was all about embodying our divine consciousness within these bodies of matter. As I continued working with groups all over Turkey and Europe, hundreds of people reported that they were experiencing, often for the very time in their lives, the ability to maintain expanded states of consciousness while being very consciously present in their physical bodies.
Since much of my work in the past few years had involved another form of cosmic evolutionary energy known as Deeksha, I would often combine Deeksha with Ilahinoor when working with people. Most people experienced these two energies as being very complementary. Many people said they felt Deeksha as being very cosmic and electrical, while Ilahinoor was very grounded and magnetic, that they experienced Deeksha more in the head while they experienced Ilahinoor more in the heart and solar plexus.
While first working with the Ilahinoor energy I was somewhat cautious, reluctant to share this with too many people. Likewise, I was discouraging people from sharing these energies with the larger public without first monitoring the results with themselves and one or two others. As people began to share experiences we were all amazed by the power and potential of this energy. Interestingly, people who had only recently experienced the energies were having the same kinds of results as those who had first received this. We began to realize that we were tapping into a vast and powerful morphogenetic field, and that anyone could access as well as transmit this to others.
As we continued experimenting with these energies, we would have people working in pairs. We would first show people where these points were located. There is a sensitive area just above the occipital ridge which serves as a gateway to the old brain, which seems to be where a lot of our subconscious and superconscious energies can be accessed. We would first have people find the Gall Bladder 20 acupuncture points along the occipital ridge on both sides of the vertebral column. Then, about 3 or 4 cm up from there they would find a ‘hollow’, usually a sensitive or sore spot for most people.
After first gazing into each other’s eyes to make a soul contact, the ‘giver’ would hold these points on the ‘receiver’ with one hand, and with the other hand cover the receiver’s forehead. Both people would connect with their higher selves, tune into the Ilahinoor Field, and invite the energy to come through, while holding whatever intention they wished to manifest in accordance with their highest good. If they wished to invite the whales, or Ra, or Rumi, or Christ, or any aspect of the One that they felt a resonance with, they could do that as well. The giver would hold the points for a few minutes or as long as they felt intuitively guided, and then the receiver would take a few minutes to stay in this receptive silence. Afterwards, they would reverse places, and the receiver would become the giver. Interestingly, many said they felt more intense energies channeling through them while ‘giving’ Ilahinoor than while ‘receiving’ it. We also experimented with circle healings, where several people would work together on one person lying in the center of the circle. We experimented with long-distance Ilahinoor, both for healing and as an initiation, which for many people felt even more powerful! We also experimented with people calling in the energy on their own, sitting or lying in meditation, breathing gently and fully, holding the points on their own heads if they felt the need to, letting the energy pour through as a liquid golden light directly from their Higher Self, and observing what happened. They could hold a specific intention if they wished, or simply surrender to their higher self to guide the process.
I see that Ilahinoor is one form of a vast morphogenetic field of cosmic evolutionary energy that is sweeping the planet right now. As we enter deeper into the vibrations of the Golden Age, we are beginning to shift out from self-imposed limitations into our divine mastery. There are no rules or limits to how far we can go with this. If any of you feel called on to experiment with Ilahinoor as a system for healing and awakening, please do so. Ilahinoor and Money

It has been a little over a year now since Ilahinoor first began to make itself known as a system for healing and awakening. During this time many thousands of people have had the opportunity to experience this and to pass it along.
I am often asked if there are any rules people should follow in accessing this energy for themselves or in sharing it with others. As a Piscean with an Aquarius moon I don’t generally like to be pinned down by rules. I tend to think more in terms of experimental guidelines as we listen inwardly to our own constantly evolving guidance.
HOWEVER, there is one thing I do feel very strongly about, and that is the financial aspects of this work. It recently came to my attention that some people were charging a thousand euros for an Ilahinoor initiation. PLEASE, THIS IS NOT THE SPIRIT OF ILAHINOOR. I see Ilahinoor as a gift of grace for the masses. The energy is to be used in the service of personal and planetary awakening. It is not to be exploited and manipulated for financial gain.
I have seen so many spiritual organizations become greedy and self-serving when entrusted with a precious gift for humanity. This is not what I wish to see happening with Ilahinoor. I have been instrumental in ‘re-birthing’ the current form of this sacred energy, and as such I feel I have the right to set some very firm guidelines about this aspect of the work. I would not like to see this sacred energy become tainted by those who wish to hijack a gift of God and use it for their own ends.
If you feel that the circle of energy must be completed by asking for a modest donation or fee, then by all means do so. Although some may feel called to share this work only on a donation basis, this is not always realistic for everyone. Many lightworkers would rather cover their material expenses from spiritually fulfilling work than from a 9 to 5 job. However, let’s find a right balance with it.
Most people have been sharing this work out of love for humanity and seeing the wonderful gift Ilahinoor truly is. As with most gifts, it is about giving and sharing the grace of the Divine with others. The majority of people sharing Ilahinoor have been asking for a modest donation, a cost similar to attending an evening workshop or receiving a deeksha transmission, while remaining flexible towards those with limited financial means.
All this is reasonable and perfectly acceptable to me. But it is not acceptable to me that this precious work become the victim of yet another slick campaign of financial empire building in the name of planetary awakening. I feel very strongly to make this very clear, so as to uphold the sacredness of Ilahinoor.
For those on the receiving end of this work, please note that the quality and power of the Ilahinoor initiations have nothing to do with how much money is being charged for it. There is a pervasive belief in the spiritual marketplace that something must have more value if it costs more money. There is another pervasive belief that says that anything spiritual must always be given for free.
While walking a fine balance between these contradictory belief systems, let us remember that the power of the initiations comes directly from Cosmic Source, and is anchored within a very ancient morphogenetic field, descending in response to a massive wave of awakening that has already begun. It is the birthright of every human being to participate in this great awakening.
The power of this work grows with the giving of it. It grows as our hearts open to serving the web of all life. Let us honour this sacred energy as a gift of divine grace, a gift that is to be made available to all who ask for it, a gift that is to be passed on… and on... and on… If we are truly committed to planetary awakening let us demonstrate this by maintaining financial integrity as we share this work.
I acknowledge that I have a bit of a charge around this. I do not have children, but I suspect that those of you who do might feel the same way if their safety and well-being were ever threatened.

In a world that seems to be dominated by confusion and chaos, it is impossible not to be aware that we have become an endangered species on an increasingly endangered planet. What choices do we have?
Imagine being trapped on an unknown shore, steep unscalable cliff behind, facing an ominously rising tide of tsunami proportions. Do we stick our head in the sand pretending it’s just a bad dream? Do we give ourselves up to drown in despair? Do we break our heads against the rocks of regret and blame? Do we frantically make our last prayers? Or do we accept the challenge of the wild ocean, find the place of our deep strength, and seek a way out that we haven’t yet seen?
There is increasing evidence, based on worldwide scientific research, that huge climate changes are coming. Ancient mythologies, calendar systems, and prophecies from many different traditions provide clues to what this might look like and how we might respond.
While some may look towards the future with fear and dread, a very different picture arises as we examine these same events from the perspective of planetary cycles. Yogis and mystics such as Sri Aurobindo, Mira Alfassa (also known as the Mother), and Sri Yukteswar, provide us with much hope and inspiration about these times, and refer to a quantum shift in human evolution. There has also been some very exciting research emerging from the work of scientists such as Paul LaViolette, Alexey Dmitriev, Gary Sultan, Douglas Vogt, Gregg Braden, and a host of others, which seem to support these higher dimensional, spiritual perspectives.
The year 2012 AD seems to be a critical date in this exploration. Signifying the end date of the Mayan calendar, it represents many things to many people. Some see this as the end of time, others talk about the birthing of a golden age. For some it represents a new stage of evolution, for others it is the prelude to global catastrophe.
What actually happens during this time, symbolic or literal, sudden or gradual, extreme or insignificant, we will soon know. If ‘nothing’ happens, we can always go back to whatever it is we were doing, perhaps a shade relieved that another ‘doomsday’ date has come and gone, perhaps a shade upset that our most cherished fantasy has gone up in smoke.
I personally find myself moving around to different places in the 2012 spectrum at different times, depending on what my current mood or research happens to be. I do believe that even though the cycles and possibilities I speak about in this book are real, we cannot always pin these down to linear historical dates.
Still, it cannot be denied that great changes are already happening in our world, faster than we think, and bigger than we would like to imagine. What if 2012 were indeed a gateway between worlds? Wouldn’t it be better to be prepared? Alternately, could we not harness our divine potential and use this date in a collective intention for consciously co-creating a new world?
We are never given a challenge that we cannot rise to. If the crisis facing us is extreme, so also are the opportunities to create something new. It is not the events themselves, but how we respond to them, that determine our collective destiny.
Fear is a natural response to change, especially change of the magnitude that seems to be coming towards us. As a child, I would often dream of tidal waves, awakening in panic and horror just before huge walls of water descended on me. The images still come up sometimes, but this hasn’t diminished my passionate love for the sea, and I like nothing better than to spend long hours swimming through the beautiful coral world near my beachside home in Turkey, where I currently live.
To experience fear as a biological response to the unknown is very different from ‘going into fear’ or ‘drowning in doom and gloom. Fear is a response to the unknown. We fear the unknown simply because we are afraid of change. Once we consciously enter the gates of the unknown, this same fear turns to exhilaration. Once we understand what is happening, and more importantly why it is happening, we are given a choice.
A new species is emerging in our midst. I believe that all the physical changes and consciousness changes going on today are designed to assist in this birthing process. This book is an attempt not only to understand this birthing but also to participate in it, both personally and collectively.
While attempting to be as accurate as possible in regard to the scientific information presented in this book, this book is also deeply personal. Woven together with the scientific research are many of my own multi-dimensional explorations into the nature of human consciousness.
In the course of my explorations, I recently discovered a powerful new system of healing and divine awakening that originates in the mystery school traditions of ancient Egypt. Revived under the name ‘Ilahinoor’, it offers simple techniques to link together the subconscious and superconscious minds which anyone can learn and practice.
Although simple, these are amazingly powerful tools to help us connect with our multidimensional consciousness and to manifest heaven on earth. A significant part of this book deals with the use of these techniques to co-create personal and planetary changes, as well as other meditations and practices to help us in our evolution towards what Sri Aurobindo referred to as the ‘divine human’.
I believe that we are aspects of an infinite intelligent consciousness, and that we are preparing for something beyond our imagining. Going back to the analogy of being trapped on unknown shores, we need not limit ourselves to fear-based options. We can also choose to get our surfboard ready for the most exhilarating ride of our lives. It is my hope that this book will provide tools and perspectives for us to do so.
